Yes, most international travelers need a Nepal visa to enter the country. The good news is that Nepal offers visa on arrival for citizens of most countries. You can get your Nepal visa at Tribhuvan International Airport (Kathmandu) or at several land border entry points.
Exceptions: Nationals of countries like Nigeria, Ghana, Zimbabwe, Somalia, Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, and Cameroon need to get a visa in advance from a Nepali embassy.
